Antique finish for flowerpots

Four ten minute steps!

First mix white glue and water half and half.

Coat flowerpot with glue and then cover with two layers of paper handkerchiefs.

Then allow to dry overnight

Roll out some airfryer clay and cut out your shapes.

Paste over the pot with the white glue mix and stick shapes on.

Leave to dry.

When dry cost with black paint.

Leave to dry.

Finally paint with choice of metallic acrylic colours. I always choose just three shades of gold. Brush over lightly so the black is still visible in the creases.

That's it!

A spray of plastic or varnish will render them waterproof.
