The Gruffalo

Unwinding after a long day can be challenging, especially during high temperatures and humidity. But for me, nothing beats tactile activities like pottery or papier-mâché. Recently, I added the Gruffalo to my collection of book and film characters, including ET, Dobby, the Grinch, and the Tramp.

If you have seen some of my other creations you’ll know that I like to enjoy a little ‘artistic licence’. But on this occasion my grandchildren had other ideas! I received comments like, ‘He should have PURPLE spines on his back’ and ‘Why is his tongue pink? It should be black and slimy,’ ‘Don’t forget the big, green poisonous wart on his nose.’

After taking their "expert" advice, I'm thrilled to share my Jumble House Gruffalo with you all.
