Petal Pretty

After a long winter I think everyone is just longing for some colour around their house. These peacocks were fun to make and are also very hard wearing.

The heads are moulded tin foil on a base of polystyrene balls .

The necks are made from tightly twisted tin-foil and the body is a larger ball covered in papier-mâché then painted .

I used the petals of artificial flowers to decorate.

When finished a spray of Plastic preserves the colour.
