Well, he looks a bit confused which isn't surprising since he has been many characters over the past year! During 'Book Week' he was the giant in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' . Then a scary monster over Halloween.

Now, as part of a woodland theme, I'm not sure what to call him so suggestions are welcome!
Making characters like this are easier than you think. Essentially they are papier-mâché models. The mere name probably fills many of you with dread remembering those awful, messy, boring and often disastrous experiences of school projects. Hours spent covering a ballon with tiny pieces of paper only to find the thing either burst or turned out to be something unrecognisable.
I don't use balloons! Instead I mould the basic shape from aluminium foil. Cover with masking tape and then finish with white glue and tissues . This gives a great skin like texture.
