Halloween is coming

Today I just had to put out one of my Halloween models/exhibits or whatever you want to call it! There is just NO room inside! Does it worry me? Not really because I just LOVE Halloween so to extend the fun is OK with me!

So, out went my very tall Pumpkin Lady.

BUT .... why not try making one yourself? If you have an easel handy then it's not that difficult.

I made the head from a plastic football covered in white electric tape and painted orange. The hat is bought.

The legs : I padded the easel legs with wadding and then inserted into tights. Then I inserted into a pair of my old black

ankle boots.

The skirt is a black foam sheet.

The arms are aluminium foil twisted to make then firm. Then wrapped with electric tape.

To attack the head to the body I used a 'neck' made from an empty round tin covered in electric tape. The black cape is actually a mosquito net!

My studio yesterday. Today a bit clearer thanks to Miss Pumpkin's departure.
